Endment: Small remnant, or end of a bolt of fabric

Ours are still here. I hear them on the pond behind us more than I see them, though.
Geese fill the river every evening and hide from the hunters before leaving for cornfields nearby. Their bright white butts are so lovely in the early morning sunshine.
