Captured!

I’ve caught the flu bug…
Ooops… perhaps it’s the other way around…

I guess the flu bug has caught me...

I wondered what a flu bug looked like. I hope I can avoid them now that I know what they look like.

Thanks for sharing the photo!

Dear Endment,

Did you know Illustration Friday's theme next week is "Insect"? I think this would be a great entry...

I'll be heading your way for a week on Sunday evening. Am looking forward to seeing some eastern birds again, though I'm a little early for migration activity...

To each of you

Thanks for the kind words.

A doctor friend of mine says lots of water, lots of rest and Tinture of Thyme or was it Time...

Cute drawing! Green with a reddened nose and dark circles around the eyes is exactly how I look and feel when I have the flu. I hope that you feel better soon!

Ugly, but humorous son-of-a-gun. He is telling you that he didn't want to come home--he wants to be on vacation. By the way, he looks kind of like what I envision my inner critic to look like. Get well soon; in the meantime, lots of fluid, a good book, and a long winter's nap.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope by now that you're quite well again. I think your doctor friend has the right idea. Astragalus, echinacea and Sambucol (elderberry extract) also seem to be popular flu remedies these days.

What a well-drawn and menacing little creature! I hope he will be abandoning you very quickly. Please take care of your precious self. Thank you for the kind and thought-provoking comments you have left for me this week. Be well!
