We visited the Audubon Nature Center.
Caught these mallards just beyond the center.

I moved to Newburyport 2 years ago this month from Boston. Plum Island in the summertime is just paradise. I can't believe that 11 mile barrier island just holds so much wonderment! I cannot believe the birds around here either. Bald Eagles have been rehabilitated by the Audobon society and seeing them fly around the Merrimac River is a sight to behold. I have some stuff on PI om my Eblog and other places because I sail out of the mouth of the river and get to see PI from other angles! NBRT is a wonderful place to live....well, at least in the summer ! :)
