Cold Autumn
"O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn's being.
Thou, from whose unseen presence the leaves dead
Are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing."
- Percy Bysshe Shelley
No - this is not the moon
it is the sun
struggling to warm the day.
"So dull and dark are the November days.
The lazy mist high up the evening curled,
And now the morn quite hides in smoke and haze;
The place we occupy seems all the world."
- John Clare, November

Wow. Dreary.
this pacific northwesterner understands! spring will return; until it does we will rest under a almost steady drizzle interchanged with fog and clouds. today i saw the sun peek out from a cloudy sky for 20 mins. joy!
i would not live anywhere else than this glorious place of beautiful landscapes and temperate climate. heaven on earth.
It may be dreary...but still very beautiful, & beautifully captured!
